My friend Brian needs help to get his dog Chewie an urgent hernia surgery. The hernia is affecting his digestive system which is causing him to throw up several times a day, trouble with bowel movements, and is causing internal blockage in his colon. If left untreated the vet says he will develop additional issues with his bladder and further complications. Chewie is a loved and valued member of not just Brian’s family but my family as well. The vet has estimated the surgery cost at $4,500 to $5000 with additional cost of medications and any additional follow up that may be needed.
