Help Me Recover After My Accident Far From Home

Writing this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I came to the United States to build a better future through my studies, but everything changed in a single moment.

A few days ago, I had a serious scooter accident on my way home. I fell hard and broke my elbow, and I also suffered a deep cut on my forehead. At first, I hoped a simple cast would be enough, but after meeting with the orthopedic surgeon, I received news that shook me to my core:

I urgently need surgery if I want to recover the mobility of my arm and avoid long-term complications.

Hearing that was heartbreaking. I am far from home, away from my family, trying to handle this pain, fear, and uncertainty on my own. I’ve been trying to stay strong, but emotionally, physically, and especially financially, this situation has become more than I can manage alone.

Why I’m Asking for Help

The surgery and medical treatment are extremely expensive. As an international student without access to medical insurance or financial aid, I simply don’t have the resources to cover these unexpected costs.

I never imagined I would be in a situation where I’d have to ask for help this way, but right now, it is my only option. Every donation—no matter how small—will help me cover the surgery, hospital bills, follow-up appointments, and the recovery process.
