I'm Chris Grubbich. I was born with cerebral palsy and developed multiple slerosis in 1993. Both of these disablities have made it quite difficult for every day living. I am now bedridden and can't sit in my wheelchair, or any chair now due to my dislocated hip. The supplies I need for daily living are not covered by insurance. However, the greater issue is my upcoming hip surgery. For all the consultations and the surgery date itself, February 2nd, I need to take ambulances on a gourney as I can't sit up at the moment. Each ambulance is about $500 round trip. This surgery will shorten my femur bone and extend muscles so I will be in less pain and eventually be mobile again.
