I’m raising funds for my sister, Zugleidy, who urgently needs surgery to remove a tumor from her right ovary.

My sister, Zugleidy Barrios, 47, is facing a serious and urgent medical situation.

Three years ago, she underwent an abdominal hysterectomy due to Endometrial Hyperplasia, Adenomyosis, and Endometriosis, which caused severe bleeding every 15 days.

The surgery was supposed to be total, but her right ovary and right fallopian tube were left in place.

Unfortunately, the operation did not remove all the endometriosis, and since then she has suffered from chronic, debilitating pelvic pain that radiates to her hip and left leg.

A recent MRI revealed a tumor in the right ovary (TU) adhered to the vaginal cuff, measuring nearly 5 cm, along with severe adhesion syndrome and deep endometriosis under evaluation.

The surgery is urgent to remove the affected ovary and treat the adhesions, but the process also requires costly pre-operative tests (MRI, X-rays, and lab work) and specialized pain management due to her complicated surgical history.

Medical reports confirm:

The constant pain prevents her from living a normal life, working regularly, or carrying out her daily activities. We urgently need to cover the expenses for the surgery, pre-operative treatments, and post-operative care.

Any help, no matter how small, will bring us closer to giving her the chance to regain her health and quality of life.
