Hi Everyone! My dog Solo is in pain due to a failed tumor removal that was attempted 2 weeks ago. The tumor continues to grow and is causing him immense discomfort. While the tumor is not cancerous, thank God, he is still having difficulties with his everyday routine. He is sleeping most of the day because it hurts to move. He only gets up when he has enough energy to eat and what used to be frequent potty breaks outside are just a couple a day when we can get him up. With all this being said, we have started a fundraiser in order to help pay for his second surgery. Unfortunately after paying for the first attempt, we don't have much for another. He had his consultation today and this surgeon believes the surgery would be successful. The issue we face is that this new surgery is estimated to be between $4200 - $7000 and we need to schedule the surgery quickly because the tumor continues to grow and could cause more complications or make the surgery more complex. I know he is our dog and he is our responsibility but we just can't afford it and I really can't even fathom the other option.
