Hi, this is Priscilla. My fiancé and I's baby girl. We rescued Priscilla at only 3 months old from our local SPCA. She was extremely underweight and showed signs of abuse. I knew the minute I saw her that I wanted to give her the best life I could.

With only days away from turning 4, she became very ill. On Saturday, March 29th, we made the decision to rush our sweet girl to the Mason Dixon Animal Hospital after she began throwing up blood. She was immediately admitted while they tried to find out what was wrong with our baby. After blood work, X-rays, and lots of medications, she was not getting better. Although the X-rays didn’t show it, all signs pointed to a blockage in her stomach. Priscilla was unable to eat or drink and keep anything down. Extremely weak and physically exhausted, the only option to save her life is surgery. The surgery to remove the blockage costs $6,000. For most, including ourselves, that amount shocked us, but at such a young age, we couldn’t deny the surgery.
