As some of you know, it has been a very long year and a half for our family as our oldest daughter Paige has been fighting for her life with some very serious health issues. They have finally got her to the right doctors, and things will begin to move forward for her to heal. Her heart hasn’t been working right, and it has caused a lot of setbacks physically and financially. She was scheduled for heart surgery in late January 2025, but due to a serious decline in her heart’s health, they have moved the appointment up to December 16. This doesn’t give her really any time to try to prepare financially or mentally for this. She will be out of work for a while, unable to do anything that requires much energy. I have set this page up to help ease some of the stress of this huge event by raising some funds to help with expenses she will endure for the surgery and after, such as travel costs to and from Portland, hotel fees for the week she must be there, bills, and living expenses while she is off work and to help her still bring a little Christmas joy under the tree for her little ones.
