Urgent Surgery for Beloved Abuelita

Hi friends, my Abuelita went to visit her ailing sister in Santiago, Chile, and unfortunately, during her visit, fell and broke her hip. The injury has immobilized her. She is in pain and being 93 years old, she is needing immediate hip surgery so she can walk again.

She is a strong woman, immigrated from Chile at 60 years old and moved to Hawaii to help raise me and my sister. Since then, she has raised countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren with love and tenderness, all the while cleaning homes to survive. We are asking for any assistance to aid in her surgery costs. She does not have health insurance, and the surgery is estimated to cost $8k. We know times are crazy, but we hope this will give her peace of mind, as our next step is to bring her home back to Hawaii after she recovers. Thank you for all your love and kindness.
