Hello, my name is Erica, and I want to share a heartfelt story about my incredible mother, Laurie, and our beloved new family member, Milo. From the moment he joined our lives, he captured our hearts in ways we never imagined possible. Just a few weeks ago, we faced a terrifying ordeal when Milo's sugar levels plummeted, leaving us uncertain and anxious about whether he had a shunt in his liver—a situation that drained my mother’s finances and overwhelmed us with worry.

But, fate was not done testing us yet. In a sudden, heartbreaking moment, Milo leaped from my mother’s arms, suffering a devastating accident that left him with two broken paws. The cost of fixing him will be an immense financial burden, but the emotional toll it has taken on my mother is even greater. She has always been the one to extend a helping hand, pouring her heart into caring for others, and now, she is the one who needs support.

We are desperate to get Milo the surgery he requires as quickly as possible so that he can grow up healthy and vibrant.
