Hello, my name is Michael Trudel and I am doing this GoFundMe for my service dog. About a month ago, she had a lump on her right side chest. It turns out to be a very aggressive cancer tumor. It is growing fast and she needs surgery in the next few weeks. Her name is Spirit. She is a 7-year-old Black Lab and she is my service dog. I am a combat-wounded veteran from the Iraqi Freedom campaign. I struggle with severe PTSD and nightmares. Spirit is highly trained to help me with my struggles. She wakes me up from nightmares and alerts me when my anxiety gets too high. She is the greatest dog and she doesn't deserve this.
