Urgent Help for Lonnie – Large Tumor Removal & Heart Testing Needed
Hi, my name is Shawn and I’m asking for help to save my dog Lonnie. She is a 9-year-old brindle pit terrier and my best friend. She has been by my side through everything.
Right now, Lonnie is suffering from a very large tumor growing from the middle of her chest. It has become severe, and as you can see in the photos, it has grown to the point where it is hanging, irritated, and at risk of infection.
This is not just cosmetic—this is urgent and painful. She needs surgery as soon as possible to remove it before it gets worse.
On top of that, Lonnie may have a heart condition, and she needs testing before surgery to make sure she can safely go through the procedure.
I am currently not working and barely have any income, and I simply cannot afford the cost of her surgery and medical care on my own. I feel helpless watching her go through this. Exam + diagnostics (bloodwork, possible biopsy): $150 – $600
Surgery (anesthesia, removal, sutures): $800 – $2,500
Pathology (to identify cancer type): $150 – $400
Medications + follow-up: $100 – $300
Total typical range: $1,200 – $3,500
Despite everything, Lonnie is still loving, gentle, and strong. She still looks at me with trust, and I don’t want to let her down. She deserves a chance to live without pain.
I am asking for any help you can give. Even $5 or sharing this fundraiser can make a difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping Lonnie get the care she urgently needs.
