Hello, my name is Marta Villalonga, and I am reaching out on behalf of my father, Leonardo Villalonga.

On September the 2nd, my dad was in a serious car accident that left him with multiple fractures in his lumbar spine. He is currently hospitalized and in urgent need of spinal surgery so that he can walk again and avoid permanent disability.

In Venezuela, where my father lives, the healthcare system does not provide free treatment, and families must pay all medical costs upfront. This includes the surgery, hospital stay, medical supplies, medications, and even the implants that doctors need for his spine. Without insurance, the costs are overwhelming.

The estimated expenses are around $15,000 USD, which covers:

Surgery and spinal implants

Hospital stay and ICU care

Medications and laboratory tests

Rehabilitation and physical therapy

We cannot face this alone. My father has always been a strong, loving man who supports his family and community. Now, he urgently needs our support to survive and recover.

Ayuda a mi Papá a Recibir Cirugía Urgente de Columna Después de un Accidente en Venezuela

Hola, mi nombre es Marta Villalonga , y estoy pidiendo ayuda en nombre de mi papá, Leonardo Villalonga.

El 2 de septiembre, mi papá sufrió un grave accidente de tránsito que le causó múltiples fracturas en la columna lumbar. Actualmente está hospitalizado y necesita de manera urgente una cirugía de columna para poder volver a caminar y evitar una discapacidad permanente.

En Venezuela, el sistema de salud no cubre este tipo de tratamientos y las familias debemos pagar todos los gastos por adelantado: la cirugía, la hospitalización, los insumos médicos, las medicinas e incluso los implantes que los doctores necesitan para reconstruir la columna. Sin seguro médico, los costos son imposibles de cubrir solos.

Los gastos estimados son de alrededor de 15.000 USD, que incluyen:

Cirugía e implantes de columna

Hospitalización y cuidados en UCI

Medicinas y exámenes de laboratorio

Rehabilitación y fisioterapia
