Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my mother, Caren and her beloved Great Pyrenees, Harvey, who is in urgent need of emergency abdominal surgery. Harvey recently ingested a dangerous mix of paper, cotton, and plastic, which has now created a serious blockage in his digestive tract. Without immediate surgery, he will not make it.

Harvey is more than just a pet—he’s a loyal companion, and a constant source of comfort and joy to Caren. As anyone with pets knows, emergencies like this come out of nowhere, and the veterinary bills are already mounting fast from emergency care and diagnostics.

The surgery alone is costly, and Caren is doing everything she can to give Harvey the care he needs—but she can’t do it alone. We’re asking for help from friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers who understand the deep bond between a person and their dog.
