Hi everyone, my name is Jake
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart because my dog Cocoa is in need of emergency surgery, and time is running out.
After rushing him to the vet due to vomiting, diarrhea, and clear signs of pain and distress, we learned through X-rays that he has something lodged in his stomach that must be removed immediately. The vet said he needs emergency surgery within the next 48 hours — the total cost is about £3000
We’ve already spent over £1500 on testing and diagnostics just to figure out what was wrong, and unfortunately, the surgery cost is beyond what we can afford right now. We recently moved into a new home that we purchased, and all our savings went into that. As much as it hurts to say this, we simply don’t have an extra £3000-£4000 lying around.
This dog is not just a pet — he’s family. He’s loving, loyal, sweet, and brings so much joy into our lives every single day. The thought of having to surrender him to the Humane Society just because we can’t afford this one surgery is heartbreaking.
I’m doing everything I can to raise the funds. If you can help in any way — whether it’s £1-£5 or just by sharing this page — it would mean the world to us. Every little bit brings us closer to saving his life and keeping our family together.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for reading this and for any support you can give.
Jake Wolstencroft,
