Urgent Surgery for Brooklyn's Recovery
Donation protected
Our poor rescue girl Brooklyn just can’t catch a break these past few months. She is 6 years and 6 months old, and about 3 months ago, she had a mast cell (cancerous) tumor removed from her right side. Now, a few months later, she has completely torn her cruciate and damaged her meniscus on her right hind leg. She had TPLO surgery to repair this on 4/2/25, and now, 4 days later on 4/6/25, while trying to heal her right leg back to health, she completely tore her cruciate on her left hind leg and also damaged her other meniscus. She now needs TPLO surgery on her left hind leg, and in the meantime, until her right leg heals a little more, she currently can’t use both hind legs. We are taking her out for bathroom breaks on a harness to hold her up since she can’t stand on her own. We will do whatever we have to so that she can be healthy again and pain-free.
The bill for her surgery on her right leg was $7,678 (attached in photos). Her estimate for TPLO surgery on her left leg is estimated to be another $7,600. Any amount that is donated, big or small, is appreciated more than you know. Praying our girl will be healthy and able to walk again soon
