Urgent Surgery for Beloved Dog after Hit-and-Run

Update: We had to amputate KC’s leg to save him. We couldn’t find a rescue to take him in time. The medical bills are exorbitant and they just keep coming. We wanted to save his life, but My father is a senior citizen and cannot afford these bills. Please donate if you can.

My father’s 2-year-old dog, KC, was hit by a car a few days before Christmas by a hit-and-run driver. He was left on the side of the road with a broken front leg. KC has been assessed by a vet who says he needs a $6,000 surgery to set the broken bone.

My father is a senior citizen living off social security and cannot afford this expensive vet bill. KC needs this surgery to live. If we cannot find the funds to pay for the surgery, my dad will have to surrender KC to a rescue and pray they help him, or put KC down as he cannot live with the pain.

My dad lives alone. KC is his sole companion every day. Please donate, if you can, to help save KC. This would be the best Christmas gift for my dad.
