Urgent Surgery for Bea
Donation protected
Update on Bea:
Bea was able to get her surgeries and the operations were successful.
Complications caused her to stay in intensive care for 10 days instead of 1 day as her recovery in those 10 days were very slow.
She was moved to a normal hospital room which we were excited about but Bea was having trouble staying fully awake. The doctors discovered liquid in her lungs and diagnosed her with pneumonia.
She’s back in intensive care receiving treatment and the prolonged time in intensive care has greatly increased medical expenses. Any and all help is so appreciated!

My incredible girlfriend’s mother is in need of a life saving brain surgery two Sundays from now on September 9th. We still are short quite a bit of funds and her GoFundMe was in Pesos which was confusing for everyone donating from the US. This page is all in Dollars and will be going towards the surgery.
Bea had two brain aneurysms 11 years ago which changed her life completely. She has a caretaker in Mexico City, where she lives, who stops by every day to clean, cook, and bathe Bea. The plates and screws in her skull from the original surgery aren’t as in-tacked as they once were and an infection has set in to the metal and skull. She also has another aneurysm that needs attention ASAP. There’s a 20% mortality rate with the surgery but Bea and her family feel it’s the right call to prevent the infection from causing Bea worse complications.
I had the pleasure of meeting Bea in Mexico City at her apartment. We played domino and ate pastries, which we still love to do together today. I can’t say enough about her sweet, appreciative personality. Her life is tough as is. She barely has movement in the left side of her body, needs help with everything except sleeping, and yet I’ve never seen someone so over the moon to receive visitors for a game of domino and a cup of coffee. She is the definition of glass half full.
Anything is so so appreciated yall, thank you❤️
