Yesterday, I noticed her face had become severely swollen, to the point where she could barely open her eyes. I rushed her to the vet, where we received devastating news.
The doctor informed me that Abbie needs immediate surgery to extract three teeth due to a severe abscess that requires draining. If left untreated, there's a risk the infection could spread to her brain, with dire consequences. The surgery has been scheduled for Tuesday morning, but I need to raise $3,000 by then—a sum I cannot gather on such short notice.
I'm humbly appealing to all my friends and anyone who cherishes the unparalleled bond between a human and their dog.
