A Tragic Accident Changed His Life Forever

Three years ago, George’s life took a devastating turn. At just 25 years old, a playful moment with a friend turned into a nightmare—an unintentional gunshot hit him directly in the face. In an instant, he lost his chin, tongue, mouth, nose, the ability to taste, and even smell.

The family of his friend promised to take responsibility. They flew him to France, where surgeons began the long process of reconstruction. A metal piece was implanted to form a nose, but their support suddenly stopped. They said, "We can no longer help," leaving George and his family to face an unimaginable struggle alone.

A Daily Fight for Survival

Since returning from France, George has been unable to breathe properly and cannot open his mouth. He lives in constant fear—a split second determines whether he swallows food or breathes. Every breath is a battle. Worse, every inhale causes a severe three-day infection, a life-threatening cycle caused by the incomplete surgery on his nose.

Doctors at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Lebanon have confirmed that George needs urgent surgeries:

Reconstructing his nose to allow him to breathe properly and prevent deadly infections.
Operating on his mouth so he can open it, eat safely, and regain some normalcy.

George Deserves a Chance to Live Without Fear

George is only 28 years old. He should be working, laughing, and enjoying life like anyone else his age. Instead, he faces the constant risk of suffocation or fatal infections. We cannot let him continue living this way.

ساعدوا جورج ياكل ويتنفس بلا خوف

حادث مأساوي قلب حياتو فوقاني تحتاني

من ٣ سنين، حياة جورج انقلبت راس ع عقب. كان عمره ٢٥ سنة بس، وكان عم يلعب مع رفيقو وقت فجأة طلعت رصاصة بالغلط من البارودة وأصابته دغري بوجّو. بلحظة وحدة، خسر دقنو، لسانو، تمّو، منخارو، وحتى قدرته على التذوق والشمّ.

أهل رفيقو وعدوا يتحمّلوا المسؤولية وأخدوه ع فرنسا ليعالجو الضرر. عملولو بعض العمليات، وركّبولوا قطعة معدن لتكوين منخار، بس بعد فترة، قالوا "ما بقا فينا نساعد" وتركونا لحالنا نواجه هالكارثة.

كل يوم معركة ليبقى عايش

من وقت ما رجع من فرنسا، جورج ما عم يقدر يتنفس مزبوط وما بيقدر يفتح تمّو. عايش بخطر دايم – بكل لحظة لازم يختار إذا بده يبلع أو ياخد نفس. وكل نفس بياخدو ممكن يكون الأخير. والأسوأ، كل مرة بيتنفس فيها، بيتعرض لالتهاب قوي بوجّو بيدوم ٣ أيام، وهالشي عم يشكّل خطر كبير ع حياتو بسبب العملية الغلط اللي عملوها لأنفو.

الأطباء بـ مستشفى أوتيل ديو بلبنان أكّدوا إنو جورج بحاجة ضرورية لهيدول العمليتين:

إعادة بناء المنخار حتى يقدر يتنفس بلا مشاكل وما بقا يتعرض لالتهابات ممكن تكون قاتلة.
عملية لتمّو ليقدر يفتحوا ويقدر ياكل بلا خوف من إنه يختنق أو يوقع بمشكلة صحية جديدة.

جورج بستاهل يعيش حياة طبيعية متل أي شاب

جورج شاب بعمر ٢٨ سنة، المفروض يكون عايش حياتو، يشتغل، يضحك، ويعيش بلا خوف. بس بدل ما يكون عم يخطط لمستقبله، هو كل يوم عم يحارب ليضل عايش، وخطر الاختناق أو الالتهابات القاتلة مرافقتو بكل لحظة. ما فينا نتركو بهالوضع!
