I have been asked—by many, repeatedly—to take on the responsibility of leadership, coordination, and direct oversight of this effort. That responsibility has not been symbolic. It requires continuous decision-making, operational management, and the ability to act quickly as conditions change. I am currently fulfilling multiple roles to keep this effort moving forward and to prevent further harm.
