URGENT: Support the Victims of the Attacks in Israel

Right now, families in Tel Aviv and Bat Yam are living through the unimaginable.

My name is Aaron Morali, I’m an Israeli-Austrian content creator and activist based in Tel Aviv, and like many of you, I woke up to the terrifying news of the recent attacks on Tel Aviv and Bat Yam. These are my streets, my neighbors, my friends.

The people we’re raising funds for are civilians from the Tel Aviv and Bat Yam areas—families, elderly, and children—who are now stuck in shelters, some for over 24 hours straight, without sufficient access to food, clean water, baby formula, hygiene supplies, or warm clothing.

We are coordinating with local community organizers and volunteers, including trusted members of youth movements, synagogue groups, and local aid teams already on the ground (names can be added here once confirmed). I will personally oversee the purchasing and delivery of supplies to verified distribution hubs and shelters in these cities.

All funds will go directly to:

• Purchasing emergency food and water

• Providing hygiene kits, diapers, and formula

• Supplying mattresses, blankets, and first aid items

• Delivering directly to local shelters, families in need, and community centers

1. My relationship to the beneficiaries:

I am in direct contact with several families and local volunteers who have been affected by the recent attacks in Tel Aviv, Bat Yam, and surrounding areas. I live in Israel and am working closely with trusted individuals on the ground who are coordinating emergency aid for those in need.

2. How the funds will be used or transferred:

All funds raised will be used to provide urgent essentials to families staying in shelters. This includes food, clean water, hygiene supplies, baby formula, flashlights, portable chargers, and basic medical supplies. I am personally overseeing the purchases and distribution, in coordination with local aid organizations and volunteers. Transparency is a priority, and I am happy to provide updates and documentation upon request.

3. Out of respect for the privacy and dignity of the individuals receiving assistance, I will not be sharing their names publicly. I am, however, in direct contact with the families and local volunteers to ensure that the support reaches those who truly need it. Thank you for understanding and for being part of this effort.

Wie viele von euch bin ich heute mit den erschütternden Nachrichten über die jüngsten Angriffe auf Tel Aviv und Bat Yam aufgewacht. Das sind meine Straßen, meine Nachbarn, meine Freunde.

Die Menschen, für die wir Spenden sammeln, sind Zivilist:innen aus Tel Aviv und Bat Yam – Familien, ältere Menschen und Kinder – die nun in Schutzräumen festsitzen, manche seit über 24 Stunden am Stück, ohne ausreichenden Zugang zu Lebensmitteln, sauberem Wasser, Babynahrung, Hygieneartikeln oder warmer Kleidung.

Wir arbeiten eng mit lokalen Gemeindestrukturen und freiwilligen Helfer:innen zusammen – darunter vertrauenswürdige Mitglieder von Jugendbewegungen, Synagogengruppen und bereits aktive Hilfsteams vor. Ich persönlich übernehme die Verantwortung für den Einkauf und die Verteilung der Hilfsgüter an verifizierte Verteilstellen und Schutzräume in den betroffenen Städten.

Alle gespendeten Mittel fließen direkt in:

• den Kauf von Notfallnahrung und Trinkwasser

• Hygiene-Kits, Windeln und Babynahrung

• Matratzen, Decken und Erste-Hilfe-Artikel

• die direkte Lieferung an lokale Schutzräume, bedürftige Familien und Gemeindezentren

1. Meine Beziehung zu den Hilfsempfänger:innen:

Ich stehe in direktem Kontakt mit mehreren betroffenen Familien und freiwilligen Helfer:innen in Tel Aviv, Bat Yam und Umgebung. Ich lebe selbst in Israel und arbeite eng mit vertrauenswürdigen Personen vor Ort zusammen, die die Soforthilfe koordinieren.

2. Wie die Spenden verwendet bzw. weitergeleitet werden:

Alle gesammelten Mittel werden für den Erwerb und die Verteilung dringend benötigter Hilfsgüter verwendet – darunter Essen, sauberes Wasser, Hygieneartikel, Babynahrung, Taschenlampen, Powerbanks und medizinische Grundversorgung. Ich überwache persönlich den gesamten Prozess, in enger Absprache mit lokalen Hilfsorganisationen und Freiwilligen. Transparenz ist mir besonders wichtig – auf Wunsch stelle ich gerne Updates und Nachweise zur Verfügung.

3. Zum Schutz der Privatsphäre und Würde der betroffenen Personen werde ich keine Namen öffentlich machen. Ich stehe jedoch in direktem Austausch mit den Familien und Helfer:innen, um sicherzustellen, dass die Hilfe dort ankommt, wo sie wirklich gebraucht wird.
