Hi, my name is Taylor. I’m a mom of three and just a few months ago, at the end of June, we moved into a new home that we hoped would be our fresh start.

We used every bit of savings to get in… but what we moved into was a bad environment. The air was damp and humid, the air conditioning didn’t work properly, and there were insect infestations. Over time, that environment led to a mold outbreak — and it’s now affecting our health, our daily lives, and our peace of mind. My 9-month old went to the ER a few weeks ago and ever since I moved in, my blood sugars have been really volatile. Both of my older children were treated for breathing issues.

My kids have been treated and are doing better, but as a type 1 diabetic, the stress and illness has taken a serious toll on me.
