Urgent: Support Our Off-Grid Animal Sanctuary

Donation protected
Living off-grid is hard.
Living off-grid with dozens of animals depending on you through mountain winters… is almost impossible.

We’ve built this sanctuary from the ground up to give animals a safe, forever home — but winter here doesn’t show mercy. Once the snow hits, the roads close, feed stores shut down, and every single supply we depend on disappears until spring. That means we have just weeks to prepare… or we risk losing everything we’ve worked for.

This winter, we are in urgent need of $15,000 to survive the coming months — to stockpile food, fuel, and critical equipment before the mountain locks us in.

Why We Need Help Right Now

❄️ Snow Removal & Equipment:
Last year it took an entire day just to shovel snow out of the pig enclosures by hand. We need a UTV plow and snow blower to keep animal areas clear and accessible this season.

Plow: $900

Snow blower: $270

⚡ Power & Solar Backup:
Our well pump and power system depend on solar — but without batteries and controllers, it fails in freezing temperatures. We need reliable storage and heating elements to keep everything operational.

Batteries: $1,800

Controllers: $250

Inverters: $380

Heating Systems & Fuel:
We rely on diesel heaters to keep the tiny home, animal areas, and water lines from freezing. Each heater burns about a gallon of fuel per day — and we need five of them running at times.

Diesel heaters: $465 each × 3

Propane tanks & generator parts: $940

Fuel (Gas + Diesel): $1,500 minimum

Feed & Backstock (Life or Death):
Once the snow hits, there’s no way to get hay or grain delivered.

Hay, straw, and grain: $5,000

Dog food: $2,400

Emu & exotic feed: $170

Every year, farms in the mountains lose animals over winter because they run out of feed or power — we refuse to let that happen here.

The Harsh Reality

By December, hay shops shut down.

By January, no one can deliver. Roads ice over, trailers jackknife, and even our own truck couldn’t make it last year.

Without proper prep, the animals freeze, go hungry, or worse.

This isn’t just uncomfortable — it’s survival.
We’re fighting to keep these animals alive through one of the toughest environments imaginable.

What You Can Do

Donate anything you can. Even $10 helps us buy feed or a few gallons of fuel.
Share this campaign on social media, with your friends, and anywhere people care about animals or off-grid living.
❤️ Sponsor a supply item (plow, fuel, heaters, etc.) if you can — every single dollar goes directly toward winter survival for the animals.

We’re Out of Time

We have just a few short weeks before snow cuts us off. Once it hits, there’s no going back down the mountain for supplies. Every donation — big or small — is a lifeline.

If you’ve ever believed in compassion, second chances, or the fight to protect the voiceless — this is that fight.

Please help us survive this winter by donating.
