Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Lyvon Stanislaus, a mother of three, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help.

On July 1st 2024, the beautiful island I grew up in and called my home no longer exists as it's been FLATTENED by the category five Hurricane Beryl, a powerful storm that unfortunately unleashed it's fury in Carriacou, Grenada. The devastation it left in it's wake has been overwhelming, with homes and infrastructures severely damaged or completely destoryed causing everyone to lose their homes and livelihood. Among the many affected, my mother's home was completely destroyed!!

My mother has always been a pillar of strength and resilience in our family, providing a warm and loving home for us. As a single mom, she raised not only four biological children but four adoptive children and grand children without the help of any form of organizations. She did it all on her own! With that said, I was lucky enough to migrate to Canada which I have done my darnest over the years to support her and my siblings. Unfortunately, this disaster came in a time where I am financially unable to support them with the type of help they would need, being that they lost everything including the house I once called home filled with memories, laughter, and love.

I am launching this GoFundMe campaign to rebuild my mother's home and support our family members who's in need during this castrotrophic moment of our lives.
