I’ve always dreamed of owning my own home, and after a long wait, that dream came true. My wife, children, and I had been living in my family’s house. With God’s grace, and after much effort from both me and my father, we managed to build our own house. My father dedicated his life to helping me overcome the difficulties of constructing this home so we could settle in. We built the house through installments and hard work.

After God blessed us to live in this beautiful home, we felt a profound sense of happiness. It was a house filled with love and stability. However, just a month and a half after moving in, on October 7, we had to leave our home since we live near the border. We left behind our beautiful house without taking any of our clothes or precious memories.

A week after we left, a relative who visited our area called us with devastating news: our house had been bombed and completely destroyed. Hearing this, we were overwhelmed with grief and shock, mourning the brief yet beautiful memories we made there. Our dreams and cherished moments were shattered, and the war left us in constant distress.

The house that once sheltered my entire family my parents, siblings, and childrenis no more. After finally finding hope and stability, my family and I are now displaced, living without privacy or comfort. The war has not only destroyed our home but also our future and the future of our children. Even my young children ask, “Dad, where is our house? When will we return?” They cannot comprehend that their memories, toys, and clothes are all gone.
Furthermore, they are often very hungry, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to feed them. Compounding our hardships, there are times when my sister runs out of milk for her babies, leaving us desperate to find nourishment for the youngest members of our family.

We can no longer bear living under constant bombardment, hearing about deaths around us every day.

Our children are exhausted, both psychologically and physically, from the relentless strain. They just want to live a normal life, like any other child, like everyone else. This is why we urgently need to evacuate—to start a new life away from the chaos and destruction that have overshadowed our existence.
