On the morning of June 23, 2023, David and Angie Lovely suffered a catastrophic loss. They endured a total loss of their home at 926 South Water Street in Ogdensburg, NY to a devastating house fire.

David was trapped in the engulfed home. He was rescued by his neighbor, and transported to Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Due to severe burns on approximately 16% of his body, Medevac airlifted him to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

David is currently in a medically induced coma. They have not been able to wake David due to plummeting blood pressure. Angie is with David, she is staying at the Sarah House. Family will be making trips to David and Angie to provide clothing and any other necessities.

David has a long road ahead of him, and he hasn’t even begun to travel it. Once that road can be traveled, they will be starting their life over. The only belongings that could be salvaged fit in the back of David’s pick up truck.
