Urgent Support Needed for Single Mother and Child

Hello, I am raising urgent funds for a dear friend facing a lot of hardship. I don't know how to write this and will say upfront that this contains potentially distressing content. Please don't feel obligated to read the details, just know that I am worried and anything helps!

My friend is a single mom who is isolated from friends and family, and living with an abusive partner. She currently needs money to feed herself and her child, and more importantly: to escape her current situation. She has experienced a lot of family loss lately, and so is short on support and hurting in that way. She is also currrently experiencing a tragically unexpected miscarriage - which is creating so much emotional, physical, and financial stress. She is unable to work for the time being. Her partner is uninterested in her mental or even physical health, and is using this as an opportunity for further abuse. She needs her own apartment, supplies, food, and stability. She cannot leave her current town as her child needs to be in school, but she does not have the funds or credit for her own place. With just a little help she could be back on her feet and find the space to heal.

She is strong, vibrant, and loving. She has tried everything to make things work on her own and could really use some community love/mutual aid right now.

She is very proud and does not accept help easily. Things have escalated to the point that she is allowing me to organize this fund for her.
