Urgent Support Needed for Kay’s recovery from Stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
Kay Moonstar was born a twin, a fact she didn’t discover until 2016 when she was diagnosed with a dermoid tumor on her right ovary. During a routine visit to the gynecologist, she learned—much to her shock—that she had absorbed her twin in utero at just three months. Though she was advised to undergo surgery, she didn’t feel ready at the time.
Fast forward to August 2024: Kay underwent a parasite cleanse under the guidance of her homeopath. Unfortunately, it backfired. Her liver and elimination channels had shut down, causing a buildup of toxicity and debris that attached itself to the dermoid tumor. Within two months, the mass had grown rapidly to 12cm causing Kay to appear 4 month’s pregnant due to the size of the tumor.
For the past seven months, Kay has been physically debilitated and in excruciating pain due to this mass tumor which just kept growing.
In April 2025, she finally underwent surgery to remove the tumor. The procedure was complex, and complications followed. Kay lost 37 pounds and currently weighs just 70 pounds. Her hemoglobin and blood pressure dropped to dangerous levels, requiring a five-hour blood transfusion. Two weeks later, she developed a serious infection under her incision, which she’s still working to manage.
Then came the most devastating news of all: the pathology report revealed that Kay has a rare and aggressive form of cancer—Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Apparently the skin portion in her dermoid tumor had developed the Squamous skin cancer causing it to spread throughout the inside of Kay’s body.
Kay hasn’t been able to work for the past seven months and is now in urgent need of support from those who know her, love her, and have been touched by her presence—as a friend, collaborator, space holder, co-creator, spiritual sister, and facilitator over the years.
Her cancer treatment is out-of-network and estimated at $45,000. In addition, she needs help with day-to-day care—someone to cook her meals while she rebuilds her strength and funds to cover rent and her basic living expenses for the next year until she is recovered and strong enough to return to work.
If you feel moved to support, please donate an amount that aligns with your heart.
We’re aiming to raise funds through this GoFundMe campaign to help sustain Kay through this critical time in her life so that she can return to her full health.
