Urgent Support Needed for Jacob's Cancer Fight and Recovery
Donation protected
“I really don’t want to die, brother.”
Jacob’s voice was strained and sober and tears filled his eyes.
Sorrow and compassion for my little brother seized my heart.
We were sitting in the middle of In-N-Out Burger in American Fork, Utah.
It was packed.
And there we were having one of the most painful conversation of our lives. It was surreal.
Jacob has always been strong.
He’s the kind of man who faces life’s challenges with a quiet, determined resolve. He doesn’t complain. He doesn’t ask for help. He just carries on.
But this time was different.
Cancer is a relentless monster. And it was clearly tearing my brother apart.
I was deeply shaken.
We’ve already lost so much—our brother Ben, our sister Ruth, our mother Kristine. All too soon. All too painful.
I don’t want to lose another brother. Not like this. Not this soon.
And Jacob’s four children still need their dad. They need him to support them and love them and help them as they face their own set of life's challenges.
But right now, he’s in the fight of his life.
Why He Urgently Needs Our Help Today!
Jacob is a brilliant freelance computer programmer and entrepreneur. But as the saying goes—when it rains, it pours.
As you probably know, fighting cancer is mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausting.
So, of course, it has taken a toll on his ability to work.
On top of that, a trusted business partner betrayed him, causing one of his ventures to collapse, leaving him with staggering debts.
Then, just as he was trying to recover, one of his clients dropped him.
Another painful blow.
Gratefully, he has the support and employment of a family run business that is very good to him. Jacob can use all the support he can get right now as he fights this terrible monster called cancer.
He has a major surgery coming up soon.
Recovery will be long and painful.
And while he recovers he won't be able to do much work... making things even harder for him and his family.
And while the medical bills and other expenses keep piling up, he’s stuck in that impossible gap... earning too much with his job to qualify for government financial assistance but not quite enough to stay on top of the unreal pressure and expenses.
If you know Jacob, you know he is a proud, fiercely independent man.
You also know he is doing all he can.
But there are times in all of our lives when doing all we can isn't enough and we need help.
This is Jacob's moment of crisis - the moment when he needs our support and help.
Let's give him the help he needs, right now, when things are the hardest.
How You Can Make a Difference
We can’t take away Jacob’s cancer. We can’t erase all the hardships he’s endured.
But we can help him with a bit of cash to lift his load.
Even a small donation can make a massive difference.
$10 helps cover a warm meal while Jacob recovers from surgery.
$50 pays for essential prescriptions and medical supplies.
$200 keeps food on the table and goes toward everyday bills.
$500 helps cover mounting insurance bills and critical medical expenses.
Every dollar matters. Every prayer matters. Every act of kindness reminds Jacob that he is not alone in this fight.
If you can, please donate—$5, $10, $50, $100—whatever you feel moved to give.
Your generosity is literally a lifeline of hope and comfort for Jacob.
Please, donate today. The situation is urgent and your donation will be a "just in time" gift that will bless Jacob and his family immeasurably.
May God bless you for your kindness,
With Love and Gratitude,
Joshua
