UPDATE: Dionicio was granted bond at the amount of $15k. We are urgently raising funds to go towards his bond so he can be reunited with his wife who is a domestic work & his two children while he awaits his final hearing set for March 30.

On July 5th during an ICE Raid at Van Nuys Home Depot, Dionicio- beloved father, husband & community member was detained. He has since been in detention & his absence has left his wife and two children struggling to meet their basic needs. He has a teenage son in his last year of high school and a five year old daughter who struggles with a chronic stomach condition and really needs her dad. His wife, a domestic worker, & children were receiving some support from other family members, but two weeks ago, four of their family members were taken by ICE & have since been deported- leaving them with no family in the area & no support.

His wife has been fighting to get him back home, but the legal fees have been outrageous. We are calling on our community to stand with Dionicio & his family. Your support will help ensure his family can meet their basic needs during this painful time.

Urgently, we are trying to raise $5k for his legal services so he can have a bond hearing & be reunited with his family for the holidays.

El 5 de julio, durante una redada del ICE en Van Nuys Home Depot, Dionicio, querido padre, esposo y miembro de la comunidad, fue detenido. Desde entonces ha permanecido detenido y su ausencia ha dejado a su esposa y sus dos hijos luchando por satisfacer sus necesidades básicas. Tiene un hijo adolescente en su último año de secundaria y una hija de cinco años que padece una enfermedad crónica del estómago y realmente necesita a su papá. Su esposa e hijos recibían algo de apoyo de otros miembros de la familia, pero hace dos semanas, cuatro de ellos fueron detenidos por el ICE y desde entonces han sido deportados, dejándolos sin familia en la zona y sin apoyo.

Su esposa ha estado luchando para que lo dejen regresar a casa, pero los gastos legales han sido exorbitantes. Hacemos un llamado a nuestra comunidad para que apoye a Dionicio y a su familia. Su apoyo ayudará a garantizar que su familia pueda cubrir sus necesidades básicas durante este doloroso momento.

Estamos tratando de recaudar urgentemente 5 mil dólares para sus servicios legales, para que pueda tener una audiencia de fianza y reunirse con su familia durante las fiestas.
