Arlerico and his son are still being held in the Tacoma detention facility. They have been told they will be sent back to Brazil once there visas expire at the end of this month. Lorie continues to work with her lawyer to try to appeal and support her young son still with her.

We’re raising funds to help free Brazilian-born Father Arlerico Latiere Da Costa Silva and his young son, who are currently being held separately at the ICE Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, Washington.

Arlerico is a beloved member of our community who has worked tirelessly with wife Lorie for over 7 years cleaning homes—including ours—with honesty, kindness, and integrity. He is a devoted father of two boys, a hardworking provider, and exactly the kind of person we value in this country.

Now, his family is facing a heartbreaking crisis.

Now, Lorie and even younger son are left alone—scared, heartbroken, and desperately trying to bring their family back together. They are in immediate need of legal representation to prevent their family from being torn apart permanently.
