URGENT: Help Support Rhyan Basco’s Mum, Tita Malou

Hi everyone,

This is really hard for us to write, as we’ve never done anything like this before. We have permission from the Basco family to share this. Rhyan is understandably not in the right headspace at the moment, worrying about his family back home and the financial burden this has brought — so we’re trying our best to help in any way we can.

Yesterday, Tita Malou — Rhyan’s mum — suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and urgently needs life-saving brain surgery (craniotomy and aneurysm clipping). As many of you know, medical procedures like this in the Philippines come at a high cost, roughly ₱500,000–₱1,000,000 PHP. The family has done everything they can, but they’ve reached a point where they need to seek external help.

Any support — no matter how small — will go a long, long way and mean more than words can express. Messages of love and encouragement for Rhyan are also deeply appreciated as he navigates this incredibly difficult time.
