Urgent: Support Marco Vasquez's Release

Hi to all of our friends that know us and those who have yet to know our story. My name is Angel Vasquez. I am a 22-year-old US citizen and the proud son of Leticia and Marco. My dad is the only member of our family who is not a US citizen. He has lived in the United States since 1997 and has been in ICE detention since January of this year when he went to his scheduled ICE check-in appointment. He did everything they asked him to do and went to his appointment. My dad never tried to hide from them.

My whole family has struggled. In 2018, our house caught on fire. My grandmother and little sister both died in the fire, and I lost my right arm. I was right-handed, and it impacts my abilities a great deal. I was only 15 at the time, but I did manage to graduate from high school. My entire family depends on my dad. We are struggling, my mom works in cleaning, I can't hardly find work and my siblings are still students. The immigration judge has approved a bond for my dad but it's $9500. We don't have that kind of money and have just been notified that we are facing a possible eviction. We only need to get my dad home. If he can get the bond, he WILL work. He is a hardworking father and husband. But he can't take care of us if he is detained. Any contribution received will only go for his bond money. Our family needs help and I am the oldest child, but with only one arm, it makes it difficult for me to help my family. Every donation helps, please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
