Greetings to all, my name is Jessica and I am a mother of 3 kiddos. For the past 2 years, my family and I have been experiencing homelessness. I tried getting help in New Jersey, and even though I was in the hospital for almost 6 months, I still got a NO for any help. So, I decided to leave Jersey so that I can get my family and myself into a home. We got down to NC and put in applications all over the place since August 2024.

I just received a call yesterday about a unit being available for my family. I would have to have the security deposit of $1,300 by June 2, 2025, or I will lose my spot. I know times are hard for many, so I do not expect anyone to jump for mine nor me. We will truly appreciate all help that comes our way.

Jessica (me) is not the type to put her burdens, problems, nor issues on anyone. So, if you find it in your heart or soul to extend a helping hand, it will truly help right now. Ashé to all
