In the last week, we were blindsided with a demand for a $20398.11 pre-service deposit before they will proceed due to her insurance being out of network and Mayo not having a contract with them.

She has countless AVM (aneurysms) and 45% erosion of the lining in the length of her intestines. This double balloon procedure and AVM repairs (where possible) will show if she also need resections at the time of surgery or on a very soon date following this procedure. She has active bleeding and pooling of blood in her stomach, her doctors at home are treating her severely low blood counts, iron, magnesium and phosphorus electrolytes on a weekly basis for a year now and we are running low on options without this procedure to fix the underlying problems.
