Urgent support for Young Mother crisis center
Tax deductible
Young Mother is a crisis and adaptation center that is located in eastern Ukraine on the frontlines of the war. Since June of 2011 they have served over 350 women, 420 children and 200 refugees from the war zone. As they escape impossible life circumstances and trauma, volunteers at Malinkaya mama provide the women and children with the hope, love, care and physical necessities they need to recover and create a healthy new begging for a better future. Recently, their only bus broke, leaving them without transportation to take the women and their children to many important places such as church, doctors' appointments, legal appointments, grocery shopping and more. The current bus is 17 years old and has served in a bike tour through all of Russia, a rehab center and now Young Mother for the past 8 years. Volunteers have made many repairs and faithfully maintained it over the years but this time it is beyond reason to repair. The women strive to be self-sufficient by selling homemade pickles and dumplings to support the needs of the center, along with support from the church and a monthly sponsorship for groceries. With 20 children and 13 mothers currently supported by the center there is simply not enough money to build a savings to afford the bus that they so urgently need. For this reason, we are seeking financial support to help them buy a new one so that they can continue serving women and children in need. We hope that God will give you a desire to take part in the restoration of lives in this way. Even if you alone cannot afford to help, please pray for them and share this need with your friends and family because together it is possible! God bless you and thank you!
