Urgent support for Whitham Family's fleet for clean air!

We are the Whitham Family: my husband Jared, our 4-year-old son Gatsby, and I. Due to the L.A. fires, we have been recently displaced from our home. We live in a tiny 1930’s mother-in-law unit in Hollywood, mere blocks from the Hollywood fire, and it does not have an air filtration system. We rely solely on natural airflow, which is no longer safe. We are directly affected by the smoke & contaminated air from both the Palisade Fire and the Eaton Fire. The air is saturated with ash and toxins, making our home uninhabitable, even though it still stands. For the past two weeks, we have been on the move, seeking clean air to protect our son. Jared cannot work under these hazardous conditions, as most of his job requires him to be outdoors. We have been depleting our savings and relying on temporary accommodations, from hotels to the kindness of others, currently finding refuge in San Diego County and the high desert. We are running out of resources and are in urgent need of support. We have bills to pay and essential needs to meet, including food and lodging.
