My name is Wanda and Saturday December 14th I suddenly had paralysis in my right leg and about 80 percent paralysis in my left leg. I went by ambulance to hospital. They gave me minimum care since I don’t have insurance and sent me home still not having the ability to walk. My family literally had to drag me to my bed upstairs. I have got some feelings back in my legs but my feet are still numb and tingling. I was taken to my orthopedic dr because I have had lumbar surgery this year then was rear ended pretty hard. They cannot explain why I’m having these symptoms. I can walk about 10 feet barely, but face numbness and severe pain in my legs. I cannot return to work and have all my bills facing me. This has sent me into a whirlwind of depression not knowing how I’m going to survive and not lose my car, and keep my utilities on, etc. I’m reaching out for any help I can get to get me through the next few months. They have scheduled a nerve test and will be scheduling me for a neurologist appointment, trying to find answers. I cannot leave my bedroom and have my granddaughter staying with me to help me.
