So let me start by saying this week has been horrific. I lost my car I bought in 2006 and have owned for nearly twenty years. I also hit my wife. So we’re currently two cars down. I don’t even really want to get into this because I’m exhausted but it really is affecting me.

Long story short my insurance is acting up treating the situation like I did this on purpose. There’s a clause that if you hit someone on the same policy as you they default to behave as if that person was struck by an uninsured motorist.

My car had liability- and I’m drained of every cent I had trying to get a new one when these unexpected expenses popped up due to insurance. I was assured my wife would be covered and then they changed their tune so I am having to come up with money from no where.

UPDATE: My wife’s car has now just been classified a total loss. So we have just lost two valuable vehicles and have to replace them both. 

Thank you for your patience consideration and support during this trying period. Over the years I have faced a lot of challenges and I’ve lived by saving every cent. This has been a devastating blow. I’m certain to recover thanks to the help I’ve already received; but it’s still a painful experience nonetheless as it completely drains us and the the secondary car - the  Honda Insight’s previous repairs were still being paid off. 

I can and will be working towards a solution- on top of looking for a new car we’re paying money for a car that doesn’t exist currently. It’s a mess.
