Urgent support for trans girl in Egypt

TW: Abuse of a trans person.

Hello, my name is Mostafa and I am fundraising from The Netherlands for Nadine, a 21 year old trans girl currently located in Cairo, Egypt.

Recently, Nadine woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of her family shaving her hair for the 'crime' of being trans. This was a culminating point in the cycle of abuse she's been enduring - fearing for her safety, she left her home in Alexandria the next day with no belongings and found temporary housing in Cairo.

However her situation is still very unstable, as she needs to move out in a couple of days and she has no money, no phone, no ID, and is in a new city. Her mental health is suffering and she urgently needs a safe place to stay and start a new life.

Nadine is a medical student and currently can't continue her studies due to the dangers she could face if she returns to Alexandria. She URGENTLY needs stable housing, therefore I set up this fundraiser to help with rent and immediate needs (food, clothing). This money will be transfered to a trusted person in Cairo which will give Nadine cash until we can provide her a phone and set up a bank account for her.
