On August 3, 2025, Parker was involved in a serious car accident on Douglas Dam Road in Sevierville along with three of his friends. All of the boys are recent graduates from Sevier County High School. One of the young men tragically lost his life, another remains in the hospital in stable condition, and Parker sustained life-changing injuries.

Parker suffered a C5, Grade B spinal cord injury, leaving him currently with little to no voluntary movement in his arms or legs. Despite this, his determination is unwavering. In his own words, “I’m not leaving therapy until I walk again.”

To give Parker the best chance at recovery, his medical team is working to transfer him to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, a leading rehabilitation facility for spinal cord injuries. Parker’s family will face significant expenses for travel, lodging, and daily living while staying in Atlanta to support him during this critical stage of recovery.
