For years, our beloved Shaykh has been a source of beneficial knowledge, sincere advice, and true love for the Salafī daʿwah. He has consistently put the community and the pursuit of knowledge before himself, teaching and helping others solely for the sake of Allāh.

Now, he is facing an overwhelming hardship and is in urgent need of our support.

The Situation:

Recently, our Shaykh was involved in a tragic car accident in Cairo, Egypt, where, by the decree of Allāh, a person passed away in the hospital afterwards. The authorities have confirmed he was not at fault. However, due to the nature of the incident, he was held for nine days. His release required posting a very large bail, which has placed him under severe financial strain.

This is only the beginning of the burden. The funds being raised will directly cover:

1. Substantial Legal & Lawyer Fees: To navigate the complex legal proceedings.

2. Diyah (Blood Money): The amount, while not yet finalised, is expected to be many thousands of dollars.

3. ⁠Car costs: The Cost of the rental he was driving on the day, with damages exceeding $1000.

Our Shaykh, who has dedicated his life to serving others, now faces a crushing financial obligation through no fault of his own.

Our Appeal:

We are raising funds to relieve our teacher from this immense burden, so he may return to his mission of teaching and calling to Allāh with a clear heart and mind.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever relieves a believer of a hardship, Allāh will relieve him of a hardship on the Day of Resurrection.” (Muslim)

Any amount you can contribute, large or small, will be an immense help and a means of immense reward from Allāh. If you are unable to donate, please make du‘ā for him and share this message with those who may be able to assist.

We ask Allāh to reward you abundantly, place barakah in your wealth and family, and accept this act of charity from you as a relief for your own hardships in this life and the Hereafter.
