Urgent Support for Larissa Munson's Family Move

Hi, my name is Larissa Munson. I am reaching out to try to get some help for my family for an unexpected move. As some of you know, we are in a really hard spot right now. We have lived in our house for 11 years, and our landlord has

decided to sell our house. We have to be out in a little over a month, and we still haven’t found a place to go yet. There are a couple more houses we are looking at that could work, but if they work for us, we have to come up with the first month's rent, deposit, pet deposit, non-refundable pet fee, and the cost of actually moving our things (all totaling about $5,000). We are almost certainly going to have to leave our town that our kids have gone to school at for their entire lives. One of our kids is entering his senior year and one his junior year, and they will be doing that at an entirely new school. Our girls have only known this house as home, and of course, they have friends and things here too. We are so sad to have to move, but we don’t have a choice.

In the 11 years we've been renting the house from our landlords, who were nice enough not to raise our rent regularly. With that being said, we haven’t been in the rental market for a long time, and we didn’t realize how expensive everything is right now.

We are asking for some help to get us into a house. We both work full-time, so we are absolutely able to pay the rent regularly, but we just need some help getting us into a new home. I hate asking for help, but this is urgent for my family. If we don’t find something, or we do and we don’t have the money for the deposit and things, we will be homeless. We are running out of time and options quickly, and that is terrifying for all of us. Our children shouldn’t have to worry about if we are going to have a home or not. I hate that this is the situation we are in, but we have to find a way out of it.
