Urgent Support for Joshua's ICU Battle

Hi, my name is Kimberly. I am creating this GoFundMe page on behalf of Melissa - a mother of a sweet, loving, charming 19-year-old son named Joshua who is currently admitted in the ICU.

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a plea for support during this incredibly difficult time. Our beloved brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and grandson Joshua is fighting for his life in the hospital following a traumatic injury to his head. On Tuesday, June 10th, Joshua was found unconscious at the house. Upon discovery, he was on the ground, pale, and completely unresponsive. 911 was notified immediately, and he was swiftly transported to the hospital.

At the hospital, Joshua underwent a CT & MRI scan which revealed no oxygen and significant bleeding in his brain (Brain Hypoxia). Currently, Josh remains in a coma in ICU where he is being closely monitored.

As he fights for his life in the ICU, the road to recovery is expected to be unknown and arduous. In addition to the emotional toll, the financial burden on his family is immense. We want to use the proceeds of this fundraiser to cover the extensive medical bills or, if needed, burial costs as he is coming off sedation and we have to prepare for the worst while we are still waiting to fully understand the extent of his brain damage. We know it is severe and life-changing.
