To my dearest Friends, Brothers, Sisters, Peers, and Strangers:

With the current state of the world and political climate we are all experiencing, I, as a Burmese immigrant who came to America, am now facing a TREMENDOUS shift and transition in my life. A life-changing crossroad to say the very least.

This is not how I envisioned my chapter closing in America, and it has completely devastated me. But many of you have asked, "How can we help you?!" And some of you suggested this. So here I am.

This is my biggest turning point as a young adult, as I am departing the country in less than 30 days. With any life-changing transition, it requires time, money, and support. And I have only less than 30 days to do that.

This contribution that you all graciously donate and give will go towards building my new life, kickstarting my new chapter, paying for my living cost and travel expenses, and helping me pay off any remaining balances to help make this transition easy and smooth.

I physically and emotionally cannot do this alone. And I don't plan to. I can't let my pride get in the way of asking for help, even if that means $1 is all it takes.
