Urgent Support for Heart Surgery

Hi everybody. Most people that know me, know I’m pretty self-sufficient. I don’t like bombarding others with my problems. Unfortunately, my health has gotten to a point where I have to sit down and ask for help. I have developed a condition called Flash Pulmonary Edema. In simple terms: there is a severe amount of fluid building up around my heart and even though I’m on dialysis, it has now reached the point where that’s still not enough to combat the fluid so I am now being scheduled for a major open heart surgery.

I had to take all of this information in and get the ball rolling for surgery within a matter of 4 hours so I’m just as much in shock as you all might be. I’ve been working my butt off to get ready for a kidney transplant but of course another obstacle has arisen before I could do that. I will have to have this surgery before I can receive a transplant now. From the bottom of my heart, anything you can contribute would mean the world to me. I don’t have much time to prepare more savings as doctors want to do surgery ASAP. I will have to be off from work, school and any physical activity for approximately 8 weeks. Anything anyone can do to help means more than I can put in words. Thank you
