Evait’s recovery has been incredibly challenging. Once discharged from the hospital, she will require 24-hour care, assistance with daily needs, and transportation to life-saving medical appointments at least three times a week for the next 2–3 months. Each trip alone costs nearly $100, and these expenses add up very quickly. In addition, Evait needs support covering medications, post-transplant care, and basic living expenses while she’s unable to work.

At this time, Evait has no source of income, and the financial strain has become overwhelming. To make matters even more difficult, Evait will be spending the holidays in the hospital, continuing her fight for recovery instead of being home.
