Help Erica Heal from Breast Cancer

Update on 12/15/2023– Erica is truly touched by the generosity from friends, colleagues, yogis, parents, and strangers alike.

As of today, she has completed 26 radiation treatments, with two more to go. She is feeling relieved that she can get caught up financially and pay off medical debt.

We’ve set a stretch goal to help Erica have a great holiday season with her kids.

On August 1st of this year, Erica Holzman — mother, beloved physical education teacher, and yoga instructor was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Since that time she has had surgery to remove the tumor and lymph nodes, and recently started recommended radiation therapy. The surgery and subsequent radiation has left her tired, financially stressed, and unable to teach yoga, a source of supplemental income. She’s had to miss work as a PE teacher at Small Middle School due to the radiation treatment schedule.

Erica needs our help. She has accrued thousands of dollars in medical bills and is struggling to make ends meet. She’s put a lot of light out into the world. It’s time we give it back.
