Urgent Support for Elizabeth's Family in Crisis

My name is Elizabeth. I'm looking for help saving everything my family of six own. We've had the toughest of years, with knock after knock. We lost our home, lost two cars, and dumped thousands into trying to repair and save our only form of transport. I personally have been in and out of the hospital, needing to have surgery to remove a portion of my kidney and unable to work. We lost mine and the kids' medical insurance. My husband has been doing Uber until the loss of our most recent car and has been searching for work for months, only to be offered positions that repeatedly fall through for one reason or another. We are overextended and have relied on our family's kindness and support as much as they have been able to give. At this point, we are surviving on the bare minimum, seeking monthly help from pantries for our two boys in diapers, and sent my oldest to live with my sister for support and to lessen costs.

We are desperate to be able to get access to our things back. We have missed 2 months of storage unit payments plus late fees. We have reached out to every church and organization possible for help with those payments to no avail. They are going to cut the lock on the 20th of Jan, one week away. We are desperate to save what we can and move it out of the unit, but to gain access to the unit, the amount must be paid. We lose the unit, and we lose the majority of our kids' things as well as heirlooms and ashes of multiple family members. My children have lost enough, and I can't in good conscience not try everything to keep them from losing more. Any help is so appreciated and will be paid forward in whatever ways God presents to us.
