Hi, my name is Avery and I need your help.

If you know me, you know that is the hardest sentence I have ever had to write.

I am much more comfortable helping others with mutual aid, mobilization, and a slew of other community building responsibilities. It's just the right thing to do.

But now I need help, desperately and urgently. I have done everything I can to work and save while still in school fulltime, and I would not be asking for help if it weren't so incredibly important to me, and here I am, asking for help.

This surgery will help me start really living life.
